Update 1.27 - Events Hub!

The Events Hub is a utility that will allow you to not only view and import events but also set reminders for when an event is about to start. The utility is split into two sections. Zybez Events and User Events. The Zybez Events section will list public events organized by the Zybez Events Team, this is a constantly updated list so check it frequently for newly added events. The User Events section however is a place where you can import events from friends, fan sites or your clan.

To create an event that can be imported into the User Events section, simply head on over to the create event section on the SwiftKit website. We're hoping that clans and fan sites will find this new utility extremely useful, as it's quite hard sometimes keeping up with RuneScape event. Also we'll be looking at possibly expanding the User Events section in the future where you could subscribe to your clan's event channel and it will automatically grab your clan's events.

Changes and Fixes:
+ Events Hub added. Utilities > Events Hub.
+ Double clicking on a Fairy Ring code now opens that spot on the Atlas.
+ Added ability to right click a world in the Server Status and set as favorite.
+ Added new favorites button to the Server Status which brings your favorite worlds to the top.
+ Lunar Spells added to the Magic Calculator.
+ Fixed bug in countdown timer if seconds was saved as 1 it would ring everytime you opened SwiftKit.
+ Fixed bug in the notepad that caused the notes to go lower case after performing a find and replace action.
+ CTRL + F now works on the internal notepad.
+ Manual updated.
+ Username Availability Checker should now be working again.
+ New sound played when taking screenshots.
+ World Map updated.
+ Added the quest Swept Away to the Quest Center.
+ World Info updated.

i have the same exact problem..i deactivated my firewall and tried it..but on my other pc it works fine..even with the firewall on.
help swiftkit

it says my firewall is blocking it, or i have no internet
im connected to the internet and i have deactivated my firewall
then it says...that the server is not responding the server may be unavailble at this moment.

For people whose SwiftKit is crashing on them, please go to the SwiftKit Knowledgebase (in the Help section at the very top of SK) and search for SwiftKit Crashing. Go to the article it finds and follow all the steps therein.

For the person wanting the Farming calc, know that we will NEVER make a Farming calc because there are too many variables that are always subject to random change in that skill, meaning we would have to make a half-bakes calculator. We don't want any half-baked aspects of SwiftKit: something either works optimally or we won't have it in there at all.

You will find your answer.

Zybez Events are not slowing it down, it is the USA server.

And are you sure the USA server is having problems? i have loaded it up on 3 different computers (showin off to frnds my awesomeness) and its worked fine on the USA server... or did you get it fixed in that show amount of time?? because if you guys did i applaud you SwiftKit Staff

And one more thing because i enjoy rambling on and on in a round aobout way... SwiftKit is OPTIONAL for everyone and i was wondering if there was a way to disable the "one click lock" on the stats... its kinda weirding me out because im not used to it...

Ha i like the idea... but you should disable the zybez events to lower the load time but otherwise i like it alot! its purty dang helpful

For the idiots among us who are blind to the fact the USA server is not working properly, I will explain for you. If you use the USA server, for some reason (which is unknown to us at this stage) your SwiftKit installation corrupts itself. Features stop working and so forth. It remedy this, uninstall SwiftKit and redownload from the SwiftKit website. Use a NON-USA mirror. When you startup, use a NON-USA update server.

None of the above will be permanent. We are working profusely to remedy the issue.

Why do people like you have to always complain? if its not one thing then its another. I mean no ones forcing you to use SwiftKit and im pretty sure it's no ones fault that the servers are slow today..

Wow good job strider, you made me have to re-update sk every time I start it, adding like 4 minutes to my usual sign in time, good job strider. WHAT A SUCCESS! -_-

Totally agree. This has to be one of the most idiotic updates EVER, this annoys me almost as much as Jagex's rwt updates did, and thats saying something. Swiftkit needs to reload whenever I close it, taking like 5 minutes. IM ALMOST BETTER OFF USING INTERNET EXPLORER! Really, whats with the horrible loading time? I don't have a clan, and I hate zybez, well actually I barely care about them, but the point remains....I WON'T EVEN USE THIS!!! Why wasn't this optonal????

The only problem I see is other clans finding another clan's event and possible crashing.

If you're experiencing slow update times, isn't it common sense to change the update server?

Haha, my SK works and stuff. I got the run time message but now it works and I hope it's a good thing.
